Hay, grain, bedding, hoof care, veterinary services, dental care, supplements, and winter shelter are all part of the ordinary rhythm of keeping horses healthy, safe, and well through every season in Maine.

Your support also helps maintain the sanctuary itself, including fences, paddocks, reflection spaces, volunteer training, and the experiences that allow caregivers, first responders, educators, healthcare professionals, and others to find a breath of rest, resilience, and belonging.

  • Your donation stays at the farm and is used to support rescue horses and the horses that participate in the Nokota Grace program.

  • There are definitely opportunities for you to volunteer at the farm, either working with rescue horses or assisting with the Nokota Grace program. While previous experience with horses is preferred, we provide training for all of our volunteers. Please use the contact page to send us an email!
